The bike ride to Maras, Moray and Salineras is a very popular exciting way to see this area of the Sacred Valley and provides a stunning view of the snow covered mountains Chicon, Pumahuanca and Veronica. The road is an unpaved trail with a steep descent towards the end. It does not require much experience as you can walk at some of the more difficult parts.
Itinerary:
Pick from the hotel is at 9:00 am and go to Canachadora in Chinchero, From here we descend to Lake Huaypo and ride to Moray where we have a guided tour of the place. After a short break and lunch, we ride to Salineras, the salt mines, where we will stop to explore. After this we ride tothe bridge in Urubamba where our transport awaits us. The trip is a distance of 30 km and can be done in 5 hours.
